Entries to the first ever Cairns 50 closed Friday march 25 with positive numbers across all events. In total, 257 runners will join us on Sunday April 10 for a run through the Redlynch Valley in Cairns.
This is very positive for the first ever Cairns 50 and the event promises to be a fun and friendly experience for everyone. The Cairns 50 course, however, is fast and flat, and with a number of fast runners across the range of events, there is likely to be some speedy times out on course.
The 2022 Athlete Information Guide has now also been released and is available on the homepage of the Cairns 50 website. All athletes are required to download and read the AIG to ensure they are aware of all the key race day information.
