Race Day Parking
Parking on race day will be available at Brinsmead Park Reserve, 500m away from the race venue. Note that there will be NO parking at Glenoma Park (the race venue itself) on race day - this includes along Cairns Western Arterial Road which runs alongside Glenoma Park. The parking at Brinsmead Park Reserve will be in the current car park and additional parking on the grassed area of the park.
A STOP/DROP/GO space will also be provided at the entrance to Glenoma Park for athletes to be dropped off for their event, rather than parking at the venue.
Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus will also run between Cairns City/Harbourside Hotel and Glenoma Park over the weekend. Bus schedule is below. Limited spaces available, therefore, all bus tickets need to be pre-booked at the link below.
Glenoma Park, Cairns
The event precinct will be based at Glenoma Park just 10 minutes outside of Cairns City. With close access to amenities, lots of grassy areas and even a creek for a dip after your tough run, Glenoma Park is the perfect location for the inaugural Cairns 50 Ultra.
Expect to find not just a start and finish line, but an event expo including food, drinks and local businesses.
